Today, Nokia has announced its latest 3-G handset, the sleek new 6555.

The WCDMA flip phone is built with a recessed hinge that creates a seamless line when open.

It comes with a QVGA 16-million color internal display, a large 240x320 screen, a camera with 6-X zoom and video-sharing capabilities.

Nokia's model 6555 also comes with 30 MB of data storage and is Bluetooth-enabled.

It also comes in quad band GSM.

Markku Suomi, product group director for Nokia Mobile Phones said "today, mobile-savvy consumers expect superior quality and design. We understood that need, and so we created the Nokia 6555."

The new 6555 will be available sometime in September, and will be offered at an estimated retail price of about $269.
