Early this morning, Intuit has announced that its popular QuickBooks business software is now available
for the Apple iPhone and for RIM's (Research In Motion) BlackBerry wireless devices.
Overall, Intuit’s online software always had a reputation for being simple and this continues in the
line of thought.
Intuit's original founder Scott Cook often jokes that it’s for anyone who thinks General Ledger is a
war hero. Now, Intuit hopes customers will find its mobile software equally simple, officials said.
QuickBooks users can perform common tasks such as checking account balances, tracking funds owed and
paid, finding contacts’ locations using Google Maps and performing account reports, the company said.
QuickBooks Online for the iPhone and RIM's BlackBerry starts at $9.95 per month for a basic package.
