T-Mobile Germany becomes the latest company to roll out the Sidekick 3.

The wireless device, which is branded as the Sidekick by all T-Mobile entities, features phone capabilities, as well as a trackball.

The new phone also features a new user-interface for easy navigation, a media player for MP3 files and stereo headset, a 1.3-megapixel digital camera with LED flash, support for up to a 2 GB mini-SD card, Bluetooth connectivity for wireless headsets and a vCard.

The Sidekick 3 also supports EDGE to enable faster Web surfing and, according to T-Mobile Germany, OMAP processing architecture for high performance.

The U.S. arm of the T-Mobile business first unveiled the Sidekick 3 for the U.S. market in June 2006.

Danger was the recipient of an influx of funds from Sharp at the end of last month.

Sharp and Danger have been working together for two years to develop devices that are supported by Danger's mobile Internet service.

Although terms of the Sharp investment were not revealed, Danger said at the time it planned to use the funds for expansion efforts.
