Motorola launches three new music-focused products, including two new wireless handsets.

Overall, the MotoRizr Z6 is a slider cell phone designed to deliver a mid-tier music experience, according to Motorola.

The Linux-based handset is compatible with Microsoft Windows Media Player subscription stores. The Rizr Z6 supports up to 2GB of removable microSD memory and supports Bluetooth technology.

Another Linux-based offering is the Motoming with EDGE. The handset comes equipped with a large transparent window, RealPlayer media player with multiple audio file support, FM radio, stereo Bluetooth and up to 1GB of optional removable microSD memory.

The device also offers a "play while closed" feature.

Beyond the handsets, Motorola unveiled the Motorola Bluetooth Active Headphones S9 as a MotoMusic accessory.

In other Motorola music news, the company announced a strategic partnership with Warner Music Group. As part of the deal, the companies will come together to create new music-based products and experiences for the mobile platform.

The companies also will collaborate on marketing campaigns and strategic planning across multiple devices.

From a Motorola perspective, the deal will enable the company to offer exclusive content, including premium products such as pre-loaded and over-the-air (OTA) delivered full-length songs, ringtones, ringback tones, mobile music videos and wallpapers.

In addition to its WMG alliance, Motorola says it is working with Microsoft to make it easier for consumers to take music from their Windows-based PCs and load it on their phones.

The collaborative effort will enable users to synch their mobile music experience with Windows Media Player and gain access to content from more than 200 online music services.
