Sony Ericsson introduced three new handsets at Las Vegas' Consumer Electronics Show.
It also included a tri-band HSDPA Walkman phone.
Sony's new Walkman 760 features tri-band HSDPA, built-in GPS, a 3.2-megapixel camera and a 1 GB external
memory stick.
Sony says it's new W-350, the company's first Walkman branded flip-phone, includes EDGE connectivity,
music controls on the outside of the handset, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a 512 MB memory stick and 14 MB of
internal memory.
The Japanese phone maker also announced the entry level Z-555, a standard mobile phone supporting gesture control.
This new feature allows the owner to ignore calls or silence the built-in alarm clock simply by waving their
hand over the cell phone.
Sony Ericsson says the Z-555 is aimed to compete directly against some of Motorola's newer phones
that Motorola announced earlier this week at CES.
The Z555 comes with a 1.3-megapixel camera and built-in 12 MB of memory.
All of Sony's three new handsets are expected to be available in the U.S. during around mid-May 2008.
