Mobile video advertising company iVdopia is adding a new social networking component to its pre-app and in-app iPhone ads, in order that consumers can share mobile ads with business associates and friends on various sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

Dubbed "Talk-2-Me" the product increases the range of options by which video and mobile marketers can reach iPhone and other smartphone end-users.

iVdopia plans to follow it up later with a version for Android and THK smartphones.

Srikanth Kakani, co-founder of San Jose-based iVdopia says "To be able to succeed in this competitive market, the intent for newer companies like iVdopia is to come up with solutions that are effective at reaching large numbers of users, and iVdopia is one of the first companies doing that. This is actually a very exciting time."

With video and mobile apps-based advertising, user's behavior can be measured more precisely. iVdopia's Share Respond Interact (SRI) interface is fully customizable and allows video marketers to offer end-users the ability to share, respond and interact.

For example, wireless users can respond to video advertisers by calling, sending an SMS, e-mailing or filling out a short form. Or users can share ads through Twitter or Facebook as well.

Overall, the company has undergone two funding rounds, one involving angel investors and another with venture capital. Last October, iVdopia announced that Nexus Venture Partners had invested $4 million in a Series A round of financing.

iVdopia employs six people in the U.S., where it is adding even more staff. In India, it employs 19 people.

It also plans to add staff in India and to be up to 30 or 35 people by February.
