Yesterday, Nokia has begun shipping its N95 multimedia computer in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
The newest addition to its N Series of devices has all of the latest highly-requested features, including a
5 megapixel camera, GPS, 2-way slide show and HSDPA (high-speed downlink packet access) wireless broadband.
Announced in 2006, the Symbian Series 60-based N95 is Nokia’s all-in-one converged device.
Nokia's new N95 handset is compatible with WCDMA and HSDPA networks, and also includes a Wi-Fi radio for
WLAN support.
Additionally, it also boasts a large display, Carl Zeiss optics, a convenient media player and 3G graphics.
Although it supports EDGE data and will technically work on certain U.S. wireless bands, it's not available
in the United States.
