Beginning today, Alltel Wireless now offers $100-a-month-unlimited mobile phone calls.
The country’s fifth largest carrier is the latest to join the unlimited voice plan fray, with its
National Freedom Unlimited Plan.
Like AT&T and Verizon Wireless, Alltel’s plan doesn’t include unlimited text messages or multimedia
content like T-Mobile and Sprint do.
Additionally, prepaid customers and smartphone users aren’t eligible for the plan, although other new and
existing subscribers can take advantage of Alltel's new offering.
The wireless company has long been touting its other unlimited offers. Under its My Circle unlimited plans
customers can choose 5, 10 and now even 20 numbers that they can place unlimited calls to.
My Circle unlimited plans start at $50 a month with no annual contract.
