Overall, Towerstream's fourth-quarter revenue is up 12 percent from the third quarter, and slightly above
previous estimates of a 10 percent increase in sales.
Average 'customer churn rates' for the fourth quarter of last year was set at slighlty above 1.2 percent,
compared with 1.24 percent for the third quarter of last year, and almost 2 percent for the fourth quarter of
2007.
ARPU (average revenue per user) was $828, a small drop of less than 1 percent from the third quarter of last year,
but nevertheless an increase of 13 percent from the fourth quarter of 2007.
Six of the nine markets are now generating positive EBITDA, a Towerstream spokesperson said.
Shares were trading down this morning, to around 90 cents.
Cash burn totaled $3.3 million in the fourth quarter of 2008, representing a 16 percent decrease from
the third quarter of last year, and a 30 percent drop from its peak of $4.7 million in the first quarter of 2008.
Towerstream provides fixed Wi-MAX services in nine metropolitan areas in the U.S.
