AT and T now selling Samsung’s new Eternity wireless handset

Today marks the first day that AT&T is selling Samsung’s new Eternity wireless handset.

It consists of an advanced touchscreen phone that includes support for AT&T’s Media FLO mobile TV service.

Samsung's new Eternity is a multimedia-rich wireless device, with QWERTY keypad and one-touch access to AT&T Mobile TV.

The handset provides mobile broadband access from AT&T Navigator and AT&T Mobile Music with Napster Mobile.

The new Eternity is available through AT&T retail locations or online for $149.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate coupon.

For new mobile TV subscribers, AT&T is offering a 30-day free trial through the end of 2008.

The new phone features Samsung's Touch-Wiz widget user interface, three-megapixel camera with video capture, Video Share Calling, advanced messaging capabilities, Bluetooth and a Micro-SD memory card slot supporting up to eight Gigs.
