AT and T says it is adding a new flip phone to its arsenal of wireless handsets, the C-610 from Korean manufacturer Pantech.

The 3G phone comes in red with various multimedia features, including a GPS, Music ID recognition and Video Sharing functions.

The C610 also offers instant messaging via AIM, Windows Live and Yahoo Messenger.

Customers can access e-mail and other data applications from the new phone.

AT&T says the new phone will be free in some markets and sell for between $45 and $49 in other locations.

The new handset goes on sale online through AT&T today, as well as a few select stores in a few states.
