Verizon Wireless extends Motorola’s CDMA deal

Verizon Wireless extended Motorola’s deal to supply the carrier with CDMA equipment, announcing that Motorola will supply it with EV-DO Revision A gear.

Ed Salas, vice president of network planning at Verizon Wireless, commented that, “Motorola has been a long-time CDMA infrastructure supplier to Verizon Wireless.

Salas added that Motorola continues to offer Verizon high-quality CDMA technology solutions that help them meet their customers’ ever growing needs for wireless broadband services.”

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
