Lately, there's been a lot of rumors of production delays and of other problems for Nokia's new N-96
wireless handset.
But earlier this morning, Nokia confirms that its new flagship phone is now available to the public.
Nokia's new N96 handset features a 2.8-inch LCD display, a 5 megapixel camera, GPS navigation and can
store up to 40 hours of video on its 16 GB of internal memory.
It also sports a micro SD card slot.
The new phone also has stereo speakers, a kickstand for video viewing and quad-band GSM as well as HSDPA
in U.S. frequencies.
The N96 handset currently ships in Africa, Asia, China, Europe and the Middle East.
Nokia says it will sell for $795 before operator subsidies.
However, there's still no word on when the device will reach the Americas. Earlier phone calls to
the company were not returned.
