Mobile service operator Alltel Wireless announces new pricing on its unlimited My Circle plans.

In a press release, the wireless carrier said it will include unlimited text, video and picture messaging for all users currently enrolled in My Circle plans sold for $79.99 and higher.

The new feature appears to place Alltel in direct competition with both Sprint and AT&T.

Sprint currently offers what many believe to be the most competitive unlimited offerings, with Simply Everything plans that include unlimited messaging.

AT&T offers unlimited text messaging for an additional $20 monthly fee.

Currently, Alltel allows customers to sign one-year contracts, as opposed to the industry standard two-year contracts.

The wireless operator says that while it offers the one-year contract, its handset prices remain competitive.
